Club Secretary Joe Kasper KD9DFB passed away early Sunday morning as the result of an ATV accident in Polk County. Joe was one of BCARA’s original members and much of the set up and planning for Field Day was taken care of by Joe. If you attended Field Day Joe was always there operating digital modes such as PSK31. Joe was one of the members who helped purchase the System Fusion Repeater that is currently on the air at Dallas
Joe was always willing to help out others without expecting anything in return and hearing his friendly voice will be missed. Visitation will be held Thursday December 3rd from 4-7 pm at Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake. Services will be held Friday December 4th at 10:30 am at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Turtle Lake.
