Field Day is June 27th and 28th. We are having our clubs Field Day at our normal location ( KC9JIK’s QTH) and all are welcome to attend. Everyone is welcome to come and operate the radios whether licensed or no. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the hobby. We will be inside of KD9DFB’s enclosed trailer with A/C in my back yard. There will be some food and drink available here but not going with such a big spread as years in the past due to not knowing how many will attend. All are welcome to bring food/snacks for others if you would like. As in years in the past we will be operating as 3A or 3 different radios on different bands on emergency power.
In years past KD9DFB and KC9JIK have taken off this Saturday but this year due to not knowing if field day was going to happen we did not take it off. Field Day starts at 1:00 pm Saturday afternoon and we should be around by then. We should be on site before 1:00 and you can give a call on the 146.715 repeater to see if we are on site. We plan on setting up and testing everything Friday night around the 6:00 pm. If anyone would like to help come on down but due to our work schedules please verify we are there before coming over to help.

From Barron: Take Hwy 25 south out of Barron to county road D and turn right or west go about 5 miles and my house will be on the right or the north side of the road cant miss the tower and the red house.
From Almena: Take Hwy 8 just outside of Poskin turn right or south on county road F. Go south for about 5 miles to the 4 way stop. At the stop sign turn left or east on county road D, go a half mile and my house will be on the left or north side of the road. Red house and can’t miss the tower.
Park and walk in between the house and garage to the big enclosed trailer, notice we have been doing work around the house so there is uneven ground and some broken sidewalk so please watch your step .
